libdmraid-dev software package provides Device-Mapper Software RAID support tool - header files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdmraid-dev
libdmraid-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdmraid-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdmraid-dev *
You will get with libdmraid-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
